One of the most recognized works in art history, Edvard Munch's expressionist masterpiece "The Scream" has set a world record in price, being sold for nearly $120 million at a New York auction.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange's talk show, "The World Tomorrow," is expected to make its debut Tuesday on a state-funded Russian television network.

The show will be broadcast on RT, a Russian state satellite channel, which is believed to be close to Kremlin.

The principles of openness and universal access that underpinned the creation of the internet three decades ago are under greater threat than ever, according to Google co-founder Sergey Brin.

In an interview with the Guardian, Brin warned there were "very powerful forces that have lined up against the open internet on all sides and around the world". "I am more worried than I have been in the past," he said. "It's scary."
