The eurozone crisis is not just about political deals or high finance.

It is also about confidence in the cash in people's pockets.

The euro was meant to symbolise a more united and stable continent for every eurozone citizen.

(Reuters) - After the "Arab Spring" surprised the world with the power of technology to revolutionize political dissent, governments are racing to develop strategies to respond to, and even control, the new player in the political arena -- social media.

Bulgarians have come to side with the Dutch government regarding the country's Schengen bid, according to journalist Tatyana Vaksberg.

In an article published on the Deustche Welle website, she cites a poll by Open Society Institute - Sofia conducted in August stating that 34% of the Bulgarian respondents believe the postponement of the country's accession to Schengen is justified, despite the achieved compliance with the technical criteria.
